ZMATION Announces FormationDec. 28, 1994 -- Portland, OR, USA ---ZMATION announced today their formation as a turnkey supplier of both custom automation equipment and standard process cells. ZMATION will be initially started in the previously ECD Nova Systems Division’s ~ 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility by previous ECD employees. According to the founding President, Mr. Craig D. Howard, ZMATION represents over 30 years of combined experience in developing cost effective solutions to specific industry automation needs. "Our focus is primarily in electronics, (SMT, MCM, and Semiconductor), applications that will utilize our vast process engineering, machine vision, multi-axis motion, and software experience." ZMATION is currently accepting RFQ’s and RFP’s for custom automation systems and plans to deliver their first system in late March ‘95.
